The Program Manager for Core Networks will be accountable for end-to-end (E2E) Delivery of Complex Core Network programs across various markets including capacity expansion and technology transformation, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure clear visibility, alignment, and progress tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
Successful candidates will typically have 15+ years of experience delivering complex programs within the telecommunications, cable, and/or media industries.

Your role

  • Strategic Alignment & Stakeholder Management
    • Actively manage and align with key stakeholders (Internal and External) including CxO level stakeholders and multiple project teams across geographies
    • Translate business challenges into actionable solutions for Infosys and ensure successful delivery.
    • Drive CxO meetings with clear agendas, outcomes, and follow-ups.
  • Cross-Functional Integration
    • Connect insights and dependencies across Product Management, Operations, and Delivery.
    • Own and execute all reporting end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Roadmap & Performance Management
    • Define achievable metrics and KPIs to track progress.
    • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap aligned with business goals.
    • Measure and report on progress against roadmap milestones.
    • Identify measures to elevate program maturity and performance.
  • Delivery Management
    • Provide leadership for these programs through formal governance roles - such as participation in steering committees - while building and maintaining trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the global organization
    • Motivate and inspire a team of highly skilled teams to ensure alignment, collaboration, and high-performance delivery.
    • Collaborate closely with teams to establish and maintain a clear, aligned view of project progress, dependencies, risks, and deliverables, enabling proactive decision-making and seamless execution and Communicate to all stakeholders.
    • Manage the roadmap and initiate projects within the specific market, maintaining clear visibility on their scope and timelines. It also involves closely tracking the delivery status of these projects, identifying risks or blockers early, and supporting effective decision-making throughout the delivery lifecycle.
    • Ensure appropriate targets and milestone dates are established to drive speed and quality of delivery and manage lifecycle activities to successfully achieve these objectives."
    • Manage sponsor groups up to Managing Director (MD) level by providing accurate and timely reporting on project status, key issues and risks with mitigation actions, as well as monitoring of resources and financials.
    • Operate in full compliance with Infosys governance processes, ensuring adherence to established standards, procedures, and reporting requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial skills with experience in developing and challenging costs and benefits within business cases.

  • Leadership & Gravitas: Demonstrates the gravitas and courage to build relationships, convey authority, resolve conflicts, and maintain project direction.
  • Vendor Management: Experienced in vendor selection and managing and monitoring vendors. These include HW as well as 3pp optical vendors that are a crucial part of the overall Core network.
  • Resource & Financial Management: Skilled in resource allocation, financial oversight, and budget management.
  • International Experience: Comfortable and effective operating within international, multicultural environments, on-site, near-shore and Off-shore.
  • Customer relation management: as part of this role, you will be required to have direct contact with the in-country leadership. Aligning deliverables and nurturing relationships on behalf of our client.
Preferred
  • Strong domain skills with several years of experience working on products and programs within the IP core and optical network Domain. A solid understanding of operating models, technical architectures, and solution components relevant to major telco/media/cable markets globally is essential.
  • Emphasis is placed on deep experience and knowledge of the assigned domain, combined with hands-on involvement in the end-to-end product lifecycle - including technical delivery, operational, product management, and/or delivery roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering multi country projects
