Your role

In the role of Technology Lead , you will act as a primary developer om application. You will eventually conduct requirement analysis, define the activities and modules to develop and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required
The responsibilities will include:

• Configure Oracle databases to meet the company-defined technology and security standards
• Maintain all database servers with up-to-date security patches and version standardized for the banking environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
• Optimize database performance by fine-tuning database settings
• Work closely with team members to guarantee database operation and integrity
• Assist application and infrastructure owners to maintain the compliance of their databases by providing support for manual patching and standby support for automated patching
• Participate to projects requiring the configuration of new databases (evergreening, new applications...)
• Provide DBA support for regulatory exercises (disaster recovery tests, data restoration tests, audits...)
• Assist application development and support teams
• Update team documentation
• Provide 7x24 on-call support in a roster basis
• Support Weekend tasks in a roster basis

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• In-depth administration, technical and architectural knowledge of Oracle Database (12c/19c/21c)
• Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, SQL optimization, and PL/SQL programming
• DBA software and tools : SQL Developer / OEM Console / RMAN / Data pump
• OS: Unix / Linux; Scripting: Shell Unix (ksh/bash) / PL SQL
• Scheduling: Control-M
• Delphix Database virtualization solution
• Basic knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter
• Perform database upgrades, patching, and migrations with minimal downtime.
• Implement tablespace management, partitioning, and index optimization.
• Good understanding of ITIL practices and experience working in regulated environments (banking/finance preferred).
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact with diverse user groups from application developer, application support team, project managers, and other domains expertise, both written and verbal in English

Preferred

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - Database Administration
• Oracle RAC and Grid Infrastructure Specialist
• Good understanding of ITIL practices and experience working in regulated environments (banking/finance preferred).
• Perform incident resolution and root cause analysis for major incidents and outages.
• Service Now experience and/or any other ticketing management application.
• Experience with incident+ request management, change management including CAB representation
• French is a plus.
