Senior JAVA Microservices Developer with Reactive Programming

Infosys is seeking Senior JAVA Microservices Developer with Reactive Programming. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

  • Experience in advanced Java/J2EE Technologies and Reactive Programming.
  • Location for this position is Austin, TX. This position requires travel and/or relocation to project/client location.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in building and supporting Web Development. Working in a software product development organization building modern and scalable web applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in advanced Java/J2EE Technologies.
  • Strong knowledge in Java/J2EE Technologies with in-depth knowledge on Spring frameworks such as Spring Boot with micro-services, Spring-Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA and Hibernate.
  • Hands-on experience designing, building, and integrating microservices using REST APIs and asynchronous messaging (e.g., Kafka)
  • In-depth knowledge in Spring Frameworks, Reactive Programming using Spring WebFlux.
  • Experience in DB SQL/NoSQL (Oracle/MongoDB).
  • High level knowledge on CI/CD
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently learn new technologies.
  • Passionate, team player and fast leaner.
