Senior Consultant - Provider Network Consulting (subject matter expert)
Infosys Consulting is seeking talented and highly motivated Management Consulting professionals with Healthcare Business Consulting experience in driving improvements across the Provider domain for healthcare payers. We are seeking a highly qualified leader to join our growing Healthcare practice at the Senior Consultant level.
As a Senior Consultant, you will manage consulting teams in the delivery of strategic programs with a deep understanding of the provider domain, business processes, industry trends and regulations, and provider solutions landscape. Relevant experiences include: Provider data management, provider network design, curation, adequacy, provider demographics and credentialing, contracts and fee schedules, provider financial operations. Infosys Consulting focuses on technology-enabled business transformation, optimization and growth programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic business transformation programs, manage program planning, execution and reporting; responsible for program resources, deliverables, executive status and issues reporting, quality, stakeholder communication, client buy-in, program risks, mitigations and budgets leading to successful program delivery and client delight.

- Brings deep Provider domain skills and experiences identifying and implementing improvements via consulting services and enabling business/technology solutions in healthcare payers.
- Relevant experiences include: Provider data management, provider network design and curation; provider network adequacy assessment and improvement; provider demographics and credentialing process improvement and solution implementation; provider contracts and fee schedules assessment and optimization, and provider financial operations.
- Engage with key stakeholders; manage day-to-day interactions with client teams.
- Conduct interviews/workshops/walkthroughs with subject matter experts and process owners to gather information for analysis, recommendations and for preparation of project deliverables.
- Develop solutions that enable adoption of digital capabilities for healthcare organizations.
- Participate in analyst meetings, industry speaking engagements, publish white papers/viewpoints in leading industry journals.
- Participate in business development, sales and proposal development and Healthcare practice development activities; coach consultants; participate in consultant training processes.
- Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple client locations.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrates proven success in consulting and project-based roles and thorough abilities in one or more of the following areas:
- Strong understanding of the health payer market and managed Medicaid and Medicare lines of business across the respective value chains and processes.
- Specialized knowledge and work experience in the following:
- Implementing and/or operating Provider functions in a healthcare payer; provider data management, provider network design and curation; provider network adequacy assessment and improvement; provider demographics and credentialing process improvement and solution implementation; provider contracts and fee schedules assessment and optimization, and provider financial operations.
- Core Administrative platform implementation experience with QNXT and/or Facets.
- Large program transformation experience, in a program director/manager role, driving workstream(s), managing a project team within scope, schedule and budget parameters; driving PMO processes/discipline, status, issues, risks management.
- Strong client communication experience to VP/Director levels.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Healthcare industry working for a consulting services organization and/or combined with industry experience in a change agent leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare administration/management, or related field
- Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations.

- Must be a Resident of an Infosys Consulting Hub Locations (e.g. New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles) or must reside in city that is within a 2-hour driving distance from one of these hub locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience working directly at a managed care, fee for service, and/or government health plan organizations is a plus
- Experience translating business objectives to system requirements
- Experience leading strategic and tactical discussions with client VP and Director levels
- Master's degree in healthcare-related field or MBA is preferred
- Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, PMP, and/or Agile preferred
Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in CA, NJ and NY will be $130000 to $177000
