Skills /Competencies:

Essential Skills:

• 7+ years of experience with Aveva Suite of products: PI DA, PI AF, PI Web API, AF Analytics, PI EventFrames, PI Datalink, PI Vision, PI Integrator for Business Analytics, PI Config, PI Interfaces & Connectors.
• Aveva PI Administration experience - Enforce best practices, Identify and eliminate configuration deviations to improve configuration and data quality.
• Aveva PI Implementation experience - PI System installation & configuration, PI System Upgrade, PI Tag Database, PI Process-book Graphics & PI Datalink reports development and configuration and PI System Commissioning.
• Aveva PI Interfaces experience with DCS / SCADA systems, multiple other historians like Client Proficy, Wonderware , Honeywell PHD, IP 21etc. Hands on with PI interfaces - PItoPI, PI UFL, PI OPC DA, PI OPC HDA, PI Connector for OPC UA etc.
• Aveva PI AF Implementation experience - PI AF installation, configuration of Asset Hierarchy including Asset Analytics.
• Aveva PI Vision Implementation experience - PI Vision installation & configuration, PI Vision Graphics development and configuration, PI Vision Dashboards development and configuration.
• Aveva PI Application Development experience - PI Application Development using PI SDK, PI AF SDK, PI API, VB.Net, C#.Net, PI OLEDB, PI ODBC, Microsoft .NET, Java etc.
• Aveva PI Application Integration with other business application's experience -- Aveva PI Integration with other business applications like Production Optimization applications, SAP, Asset Management Application and etc.
• Dashboards development using PI Vision or any other technologies like HTML5, Microsoft Sharepoint, Spotfire and etc.
• Aveva PI Training experience (Aveva PI Administrator and PI End User Trainings)

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Oil & Gas Operations, Energy, Utilities Industry is an added plus.
• Exposure to full lifecycle of Aveva PI implementation from Planning, Design to Deployments.
• Hand on Exposure to Aveva PI roll outs, upgrades and production support and administration.
• Perform reviews, ensuring quality, performance, security, and adherence to development standards.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers through technical coaching, knowledge sharing, and pair programming.

Additional Skills:

• Excellent customer interfacing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
• Supports Strategic Solution makings, estimations, Proof of Concepts, business proposal creation.
• Supports process optimizations, automation for performance improvement.
• Security Consideration and Risk assessment.
