Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) Senior Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) Expert to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of OFSC functionalities, technical capabilities, and integration strategies. The ideal candidate will be a techno-functional professional capable of leading complex implementations, optimizing field service operations, and driving digital transformation for our clients.
Required Skills:
- 5-15 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and integrating Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC)
- Deep understanding of Oracle Field Service Cloud architecture, data model, configuration, and customization capabilities
- Proven expertise in Oracle Field Service Cloud solutions to optimize scheduling, routing, capacity planning, work order management, and mobile workforce management
- Have rich experience in configuring OFSC application components including resource pools, territories, routing rules, scheduling policies, business rules, Smart Collaboration, Action Management, and Manage Displays
- Experience with OFSC Mobile Plug-in Framework is a significant plus
- Knowledge of Customizing OFSC using the plug-in framework to enhance functionality and meet specific business needs, including capturing time and expenses
- Proven experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration platforms (preferably Oracle Integration Cloud - OIC) for integrating OFSC with other enterprise systems
- Knowledge of all Oracle Cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Oracle Field Service Cloud certifications are a significant plus
Depending on the specific experience level, responsibilities may include, but are not limited:
Solution Design & Architecture activities
- Lead the analysis and understanding of complex client business requirements related to field service operations, translating them into robust and scalable OFSC solutions
- Develop technical designs and architectural blueprints for OFSC implementations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and Oracle's product roadmap
- Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes and OFSC capabilities, proposing effective solutions and workarounds
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients on leveraging OFSC to achieve their operational efficiency, cost management, and customer experience goals.
- Define and document future state processes, ensuring clear understanding and adoption by stakeholders
- Implementation & Configuration
- Lead and execute end-to-end OFSC implementation phases, from project preview and fit/gap analysis to configuration, testing, go-live preparation, and post-production support.
- Integration & Technical Development
- Design, develop, and maintain robust integrations between OFSC and other enterprise systems
- Utilize various integration patterns and tools, with strong proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Develop and implement mobile solutions for field technicians using the OFSC mobile application
- Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards using OFSC reporting tools, APIs, and business intelligence solutions (e.g., SQL reporting)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to OFSC configuration, integrations, and mobile functionality

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Lead and facilitate solution design sessions, workshops, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with clients
- Mentor and provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, fostering their growth and ensuring solution quality
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, project managers, and Oracle support
- Provide status and issue reports to project managers and clients regularly
- Promote knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and best practices within the team
- Stay current with Oracle Field Service Cloud updates, patches, and new features, assessing their impact on existing systems and recommending adoption strategies
- Identify and lead opportunities for process improvement and technological innovation within field service operations
- Contribute to strategic planning and goal setting for the department or function
- Demonstrate strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Manage project workstreams, ensuring successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
