Short Description:

- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / Engineering discipline.
- 7-9 years of hands-on experience supporting Hexagon PAS Plant State Integrity (PSI) platform, including:
- Alarm Management configuration and troubleshooting
- Boundary Management setup and safe operating limit monitoring
- Control Loop Monitoring & diagnostics
- IPL (Independent Protection Layer) Management and compliance monitoring
- Strong experience in real-time plant condition monitoring, anomaly detection, and diagnostic analytics.
- Experience interpreting process operating envelopes, alarms, deviations, and safety-critical conditions.
- Manage PSI installation, upgrades, patches, environment configuration, and performance tuning.
- Work with infrastructure teams for VM provisioning, connectivity, firewall rules, OS patching, and resource optimization.
- Experience analyzing PSI logs, event behavior, boundary breaches, and abnormal condition patterns.
- Execute ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Maintain internal knowledge base, SOPs, configuration guidelines, and operational safety documentation.
- Coordinate with Hexagon support for bug reports, product patches, security updates, and technical escalations.
- Support onboarding of new users, access provisioning, and plant operations alignment.
- Ensure compliance with IT security, operational risk management, and auditor requirements.
- Exposure to DCS/SCADA systems, process historian data, or industrial automation platforms.
- Understanding of Alarm Philosophy, Boundary standards, and ISA 18.2 guidelines.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) for automation of log handling, cleanup, and recurring tasks.
- Knowledge of network security, OS hardening, and secure configuration practices.
- Experience in SLA adherence, structured reporting, and ticket hygiene.
- Strong collaboration skills with process engineers, control room operators, and safety teams.
- Ability to prepare standardized SOPs, playbooks, and compliance-ready documents.
- Ability to identify automation opportunities, reduce noise alarms, and optimize boundary settings.
- Strong analytical mindset with focus on operational safety and system stability.
