Senior Consultant - Discrete MFG

Infosys is seeking a Senior Industrial/Discrete Manufacturing Domain Consultant. You will be a key player in the consulting team. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX/ Raleigh, NC/ Indianapolis, IN/Tempe, AZ/Atlanta, GA (preferred) or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 Years of experience in Information Technology.

• Relevant experience as a domain / business consultant or Business Analyst or an industry practitioner in manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Business analyst / Product Owner. Functional domains - Tendering, Commercial operations, Maintenance, Repairs & Overhaul, Field Services Management, Asset Management, Install base Management for heavy equipment / turbomachinery industry. Worked in IT application development project.
• Any relevant certification will be an added advantage - Six Sigma, PMP etc. Implementation / Working Knowledge of packages from SAP/Oracle/Salesforce/ Maximo etc preferred.
• Experience of working in MRO, Asset Management or FSM solutions for large industrial / turbomachinery clients. Hands-on experience with business requirements management tools like JIRA / Rally Systems.
• Experience of working in Sales and aftersales, Production management, Finance & Leasing etc.
• Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Experience in driving meetings/workshops with senior client executives, business leads & cross functional stakeholders and articulate project documents lucidly
• Preferably should have an exposure to outsourcing and offshoring work models

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
