Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Acurity Developer to support BAU operations and ongoing enhancements on the Iress Acurity platform for a leading superannuation client. The role involves production support, issue resolution, and continuous system improvements . Key Responsibilities 1. BAU / Production Support

  • Provide L2/L3 support for Acurity-based applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, defects, and service requests
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes
  • Monitor and support batch jobs, data loads, and integrations

2. Development & Enhancements
  • Develop and enhance solutions on Iress Acurity platform
  • Customize and integrate Acurity modules to meet client needs
  • Deliver small enhancements and continuous improvements

3. Data & System Maintenance
  • Perform SQL data fixes and validation
  • Support data processing, EOFY activities, and reporting changes
  • Handle configuration and template updates

4. System Analysis & Optimization
  • Analyse system performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Implement solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and stability

5. Collaboration & Documentation
  • Work with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain documentation and provide regular status updates

Required Skills & Experience
Core Skills
  • 4+ years (6+ preferred) experience in Iress Acurity platform
  • Strong exposure to Superannuation domain
  • Experience in production support / BAU environments

Technical Skills
  • Programming: .NET / Java / Python (any one)
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience in:
    • Batch jobs & job monitoring
    • Data loads & integrations
    • Reporting (Acurity Architect preferred

Support & Operational Skills
  • Experience with incident management & ITIL processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Soft Skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder handling skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced BAU environment
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
  • Typically 5-10+ years overall IT experience
