Roles and Responsibilities:
- Triaged and resolved production-level defects of a workbench tool used for home loans document processing by collaborating with previous code owners, testers, business analysts and team leads, utilizing advanced tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Nexthink.
- As a pilot team member, successfully achieved to set up a project in a Docker environment on a client provided Mac machine, navigating multiple security restrictions, and documented the process for future reference.
- Created and integrated environment variables on Front-end and Back-end of the application for modifying the HTTP request timeout in multiple environments. Performed and devised unit testing using Pytest for enhancing the code quality.
- Quickly familiarized with home loans processing workflow and tech stacks used for the project ( Python, TypeScript, NodeJS, NEXTJS, Domain Specific Language, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker ).
- Engineered a questionnaire page from scratch, enabling personalized questions based on user responses with less than 5% defect rate.
- Refined cybersecurity measures by deploying a Braintree 3DSecure OTP popup, achieving a 30% drop in fraud incidents and shifting liability away from the organization.
- Facilitated in automating content management processes in AEM reducing developers' effort to upload label files manually which included a recursive file search approach to reduce complexity.
- Devised webpack configuration to optimize build which reduced application load time by 5 seconds.
- Integrated Adobe Analytics, developed unit tests using Jest and implemented Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(WCAG 2.1 AA) achieving increase in accessibility compliance.
- Refactored core micro repositories to accommodate Redux and maintainability of code.
- Mentored Graduate Engineers and provided constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Quickly learnt micro frontend architecture (SSPA) and micro services and seamlessly integrated new features by collaborating with QA, product managers, developers and designers following Agile Software Development methodologies (CI/ CD pipelines).
- Familiarized with BFF (Backend For FrontEnd) integration using JAVA.
• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
Preferred:
- Quick Learner. Currently worked in Angular, React, NextJS, Python, NodeJS, TypeScript, ObjectiveC, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, HTML5/CSS3, Jest, Pytest and Bootstrap)
- Great debugging skills - understanding the business logic, deep diving into technical issues, collaborating with cross-domain experts, testers, Business Analysts both onsite and remote.
- Experience in Implementation, Unit, and Integration Testing, Deployment, Monitoring, and Performance Tuning.
- Soft Skills : Clear communicator, highly adaptable, inquisitive, perseverance, dedicated, team player and possesses a positive mind-set and leadership qualities.
