Summary We are looking for a senior cloud engineer to join our team and help us design, implement, and maintain Government commercial cloud-based solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our cloud infrastructure and applications. You will also collaborate with other engineers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and services. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other platforms
- Manage and optimize Singapore Government cloud (GCC and GCC+) resources, services, and costs
- Implement and enforce best IM8 practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance
- Monitor and troubleshoot Government commercial cloud issues and incidents
- Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers and developers
- Research and evaluate new cloud technologies and trends to integrate with projects.
- Provide support for the local cloud and cross cloud backup management, patch management, certification management, monitoring and logging activities
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in Government commercial cloud engineering, administration, implementation, DevOps, or similar roles
- At least 4 years of relevant experience with the Cloud System Monitoring tools and Cloud operations
- Strong knowledge and skills in Azure or other cloud platforms
- Proficient in cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services
- Good knowledge of Windows / Linux environment
- Good knowledge of the proposed Application Software
- Experience in scripting languages such as KQL, Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience in cloud automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Experience in Azure cloud monitoring and logging tools
- Experience in cloud security and IM8 compliance standards
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Certifications in Azure or other cloud platforms is mandatory

- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure for GCC hosted applications, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Automate deployment pipelines using tools like CI/CD, Terraform, and Ansible to streamline AI model deployment and updates.
- Coordinate with Software Developers, QA and Project Managers to deploy web applications (new applications and upgrades to existing software).
- Build documentation and SOPs to follow during deployments.
- Set up and manage Development, UAT and Production Environments.
- Manage releases from Development -> UAT -> PROD environments.
- Prepare backups/recovery processes and procedures and plan for Disaster Recovery.
- Work with System Architects to plan and implement CI/CD pipelines for government, public and private cloud infrastructures.
- Research, propose, document, and execute the adoption of DevOps, testing and code quality best practices
- Efficient Administrator to manage Azure DevOps components.
