Senior Client Partner - Utilities
Infosys is seeking a Senior Client Partner for its Utilities vertical. The person will lead all client interfaces within the assigned account, working with Group Managers to build and execute the account plan, and will be responsible for client management and growth against the plan. Typically manages a single account or part of a large account with a P&L of $50M+, with a focus on Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Grid Modernization initiatives, including large transformation programs in SAP Utilities, Oracle Utilities (Billing), and Cloud migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Growth & Relationship Leadership
• Build and execute an account strategy to grow to/exceed $50M+; drive net-new and expansion opportunities.
• Own the opportunity lifecycle (Prospect → Qualify → Shape → Propose → Close) with disciplined pipeline management (3-4× coverage).
• Develop and deepen executive relationships (CIO/CTO/COO/VP T&D, Regulatory/Operations).
Deal Orchestration & Commercials
• Lead multi-tower pursuits (consulting, applications, cloud, data/AI, OT/IT) and multi-year transformations.
• Shape solution, pricing, and commercial structures (T&M, fixed, outcome-based) and negotiate to close $5-25M+ deals.
Delivery Assurance & Customer Success
• Govern delivery outcomes with GDM teams to achieve contractual commitments, margin targets, and client satisfaction/NPS.
• Run executive QBRs/SteerCos and proactively remediate risks.
Ecosystem & Thought Leadership
• Activate the partner ecosystem (SAP Utilities, Oracle Energy & Water-C2M/CC&B, major Hyperscalers) to co-sell and co-deliver.
• Bring thought leadership on Grid Modernization, AMI/ADMS/DERMS/OMS, asset & field service, and cloud data/AI for utilities.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 14+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
• Direct sales and account management experience in the Utilities industry (Electric, Gas, Water), with proven exposure to Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Grid Modernization initiatives.
• Experience in SAP Utilities (e.g., IS-U, S/4HANA Utilities/S/4 UCE) is a must-have; exposure to Oracle Utilities (Billing-CC&B/C2M) is strongly preferred.
• Significant business development (origination to close of multi-year programs) and project/engagement governance experience.
• Experience managing Utilities accounts and driving solutions sales and implementations in SAP Utilities; experience positioning Oracle Utilities (Billing) a plus.
