Senior AWS Cloud Developer

Infosys Public Services is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance in Mississauga, ON or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

• Lead and contribute to the design, development, and support of cloud-native enterprise applications.
• Quickly understand existing architecture, integrations, workflows, and business processes within platform.
• Work closely with architects, business analysts, QA, and operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Support and enhance systems built on AWS cloud technologies and distributed event-driven architectures.\
• Troubleshoot complex production and integration issues across multiple systems.
• Drive technical excellence, coding standards, best practices, and system stability.
• Mentor intermediate and junior developers and encourage collaborative development practices.
• Promote proper documentation, knowledge sharing, and reduction of dependency on individual contributors.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical solutioning, code reviews, and release planning.
• Support CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, and operational improvements.
• Help modernize and optimize existing applications, workflows, and data processing pipeline AWS Cloud Technologies.

• Amazon Kinesis
• AWS DMS (Database Migration Service)
• CDC (Change Data Capture)
• Real-time data processing and integrations

Architecture & Engineering Strong understanding of:
• Distributed systems
• Microservices architecture
• Fault-tolerant system design
• Scalable cloud-native applications
• API integrations
• Asynchronous workflows
• Performance optimization

DevOps & Automation Experience with:
• CI/CD pipelines
• Git workflows
• Deployment automation
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation preferred)
• Monitoring and observability practices

The estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In Mississauga, ON: $92,470 to $123, 375.
