Senior Associate Consultant - ServiceNow ITAM SAM Lead
Infosys is seeking a ServiceNow SAM Lead with very good experience in IT Asset Management/ ServiceNow SAM to oversee and manage the Software Asset Management operations within the Servicenow platform.
This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauaga, Ontario / Calgary, Alberta OR be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 8 + years of Information Technology experience.

- Minimum 2 ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Certifications and SAM.
- Expert Proficiency of working with ServiceNow platform for Global Customers
- Design Frameworks and Methodologies; Non-Functional Requirements
- Architecture definition, design, and development tools
- Scripting , Solutioning
- Primary point of contact for SAM-related issues and escalations.
- Mentor junior SAM analysts and support staff.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for license audits and renewals.
- Define and enforce SAM governance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with procurement, IT, and compliance teams to align SAM processes.
- Monitor software usage and identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
- Lead the day-to-day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow SAM module.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software discovery, normalization, reconciliation, and license compliance.
- Ensure accurate software entitlement and consumption data.
- Generate and analyze SAM reports and dashboards.
- Provide insights into software compliance, usage trends, and audit readiness.
- Strong understanding of software licensing models (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, Discovery, and CMDB.
- Familiarity with integration tools like Flexera, SCCM, or JAMF.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - SAM
- Hands on experience on ITAM SAM and ITSM modules.
- Develop, test, and deploy, support and enhancements/ feature requests as required by the business.
- To have knowledge on SLA and should have worked in shifts.
- Should be able to hold discussions with the clients on the best approach for the client after analyzing their environment.
- Must have working experience Agile environment.
- Experience in CMDB and Discovery with other external modules.
- Service now implementation experience in Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB and Discovery.
- Configuration/Customization of the Service Now system, including creating workflows or flows.
- Hands-on experience working with relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with web UI development and Service Portal technologies that include HTML, CSS, and Angular JS.
- Service Now Certified Application Developer is an Advantage
