Role: - Senior Associate Consultant (Project Scheduler - Contact Center Transformation Program)

Location: - Sydney

Status - 12 Months fixed term contract

JOB DESCRIPTION: -

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler / Planner to support a large-scale contact center transformation program. This role will be responsible for establishing and managing integrated delivery plans, with deep hands-on ownership of Microsoft Project (MPP) .

The ideal candidate is an expert planner with strong experience in facilitating planning workshops, managing complex schedules, and leveraging Jira for delivery tracking and alignment .

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Workshop Facilitation

  • Lead and facilitate planning workshops with business and delivery stakeholders to define:
  • Scope, timelines, dependencies, and milestones
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across multiple workstreams
  • Translate program objectives into structured, executable schedules

Schedule Management (Microsoft Project - MPP)
  • Develop, own, and maintain end-to-end integrated project schedules in Microsoft Project (MPP)
  • Manage:
  • Dependencies across workstreams
  • Resource allocations
  • Critical path and milestone tracking
  • Perform regular updates, re-baselining, and schedule optimisation
Expectation:
  • Demonstrated expert-level (5/5) proficiency in Microsoft Project (MPP)
  • Ability to independently manage large, multi-stream schedules

Jira-Based Delivery Tracking
  • Maintain and align Jira boards with the master project schedule (MPP)
  • Ensure:
  • Work items, sprints, and epics reflect schedule timelines
  • Traceability between planning milestones and execution progress
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to:
  • Track progress at task level
  • Identify blockers and delays early
  • Use Jira insights to support status reporting and schedule updates
Expectation:
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira for planning, tracking, and governance (4/5 or above)

Program Governance & Tracking
  • Monitor progress against baseline schedules and highlight deviations
  • Maintain critical path visibility and schedule integrity
  • Support governance forums with structured schedule updates and insights

Risk & Dependency Management
  • Identify and manage interdependencies across contact center, technology, and operations streams
  • Proactively flag scheduling risks and propose mitigation actions
  • Drive resolution of issues impacting timelines

Reporting & Communication
  • Provide clear reporting on:
  • Schedule health
  • Milestone readiness
  • Risks and constraints
  • Communicate insights effectively to both delivery teams and leadership stakeholders

Key Skills & Experience

Core Skills
  • Proven experience as a Project Scheduler / Planner in large transformation programs
  • Expert-level Microsoft Project (MPP) capability - mandatory (5/5)
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira for delivery tracking and alignment
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Critical path analysis
  • Dependency management
  • Schedule optimisation
