Senior Accountant with German

Currently we are looking for the candidate for the position of:
Senior Accountant with German
Location: Lodz - hybrid or remote

Responsibilities:
Group and statutory accounting
Support for month-end closing and consolidation processes
Handling IFRS and group accounting topics
Intercompany transactions and group reconciliations
Group controls, GAM compliance, audit support, and J-SOX activities
Maintenance of local books in accordance with German GAAP
Preparation of period-end statutory adjustments and provisions
Support in the preparation of statutory financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L)

Requirements:
3-6 years of experience in accounting
Experience in German accounting
Good knowledge of German GAAP
German min. C1 (essential for client communication purposes)
English min C1
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Strong communication skills with high stakeholder impact
Flexibility and readiness to handle ad-hoc tasks, including overtime when required
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
Willingness to travel for up to 1 month (transition from German entity)
