Roles & Responsibilities
- Leading or participating in the full lifecycle of SAP PP-VC module implementation in S/4HANA, including design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Designing and configuring variant configuration models, including classes, characteristics, dependencies, and super BOMs/routings.
- Integrating SAP PP-VC with other modules like SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and Production Planning to ensure seamless business processes.
- Configuring and customizing SAP PP and VC to meet specific business requirements, including creating and managing BOMs, routings, and work centers.
- Setting up and managing master data related to configurable materials, including KMAT material types and their associated attributes.
- Developing functional specifications for custom development and interface requirements related to VC.
- Conducting system testing, providing user training, and offering production support for SAP PP-VC solutions.
- Identifying and resolving issues related to SAP PP-VC configurations and integrations.
- Optimizing existing SAP PP-VC configurations and processes to improve efficiency and performance.
- Good Domain knowledge in Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management.
- Working experience in the Food & Beverage industry will be an added advantage.
- Experience in participating in or leading end-to-end SAP S/4HANA PP-VC implementation projects.
- Extensive experience in the SAP PP module, including production planning, MRP, and shop floor control.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC), including modeling complex configurable products and defining dependencies.
- Familiarity with Advanced Variant Configuration concepts.
- Expertise in creating and managing classes, characteristics, object dependencies (procedures, constraints, preconditions, actions), and super BOMs/routings.
- Experience with integrating SAP PP-VC with other modules like SD, MM, and engineering processes.
- Understanding of make-to-order (MTO) and engineer-to-order (ETO) scenarios and their impact on VC.
- Ability to write RICEFW specifications for custom developments.
- Experience with system testing, user training, and go-live support.
- Experience in consulting, including solution design, build, testing, documentation, and training.
- Ability to plan, manage, and execute projects, including timelines and resources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system issues and optimize configurations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Professional German speaking proficiency.
