Role Description:
The S/4HANA FICO Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with financial best practices and organizational objectives. The consultant plays a key role across implementation, rollout, and support phases.
Location: Brisbane
Salary: AUD 150,742 - 171,215 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end S/4HANA FICO implementations, rollouts, and enhancements
• Gather and analyse business requirements for Finance and Controlling processes
• Configure SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting) and CO modules (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA)
• Drive design workshops and solution blueprinting sessions with stakeholders
• Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.)
• Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
• Provide functional support during UAT, go-live, and hyper care phases
• Manage issue resolution and coordinate with technical teams for developments
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements

Technical Expertise Requirements
• Business requirement documents (BRD) and functional specifications (FS)
• Solution design and configuration documents
• End-to-end process flows and integration design
• Data migration and reconciliation outputs
• Test scripts, test results, and defect logs
• Training materials and user documentation
• Go-live readiness reports and hypercare support plans
Essential:
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO)
• Proven track record of multiple full-cycle implementations and/or rollouts
• Deep expertise in core FI components (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO modules
• Experience with S/4HANA innovations (Universal Journal, Fiori apps, etc.)
• Knowledge of financial closing processes and reporting requirements
• Strong integration knowledge with logistics and manufacturing modules
• Hands-on experience in data migration tools (LTMC, LTMOM, Migration Cockpit)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead workshops and interact with senior business stakeholders
Additional:
• Experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, or FSCM
• Exposure to SAP BTP, Embedded Analytics, or SAC
• Knowledge of automation tools (RPA, workflow, AI-driven finance processes)
• Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Experience working in global multi-country implementations
• Familiarity with Agile/Activate methodology
