Senior Principal - Business Consulting (SAP Program Manager)
We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Program Manager at Senior Principal level to lead large scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and upgrade programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in managing complex SAP programs, including both S/4HANA Brownfield, Hybrid and Greenfield initiatives, with strong technical governance and delivery leadership.
This role requires a strategic leader who can drive end-to-end program execution, manage senior stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery aligned with business outcomes and value realization.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards
- Manage multiple workstreams (functional, technical, data, integration, testing, cutover) across globally distributed teams
- Drive program governance including SteerCo updates, risk management, issue resolution, and milestone tracking
- Ensure alignment with SAP Activate methodology and enterprise delivery frameworks
- Provide technical oversight across:
- SAP S/4 Conversion (Brownfield and Hybrid)
- Greenfield implementation architectures
- Integration landscapes (SAP & non-SAP)
- Data migration strategies and execution
- Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, BASIS, development, and integration teams
- Act as the primary interface with executive stakeholders, CIOs, and business leadership
- Drive decision-making forums and ensure alignment across IT and business functions
- Provide proactive communication on risks, mitigation plans, and program status
- Leverage tools such as:
- SAP Signavio for process discovery, design, and optimization
- Selective Data Transformation tools for program acceleration
- Promote adoption of automation, accelerators, and best practices to enhance delivery efficiency
- Establish strong QA governance across key deliverables (RTM, design docs, testing, data, cutover)
- Identify and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and integration challenges
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and audit requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years of SAP program delivery experience
- Consulting experience is a must.
- Proven track record as a Program/Project Manager in large SAP transformations
- Hands-on experience in:
- At least 1 SAP S/4HANA Brownfield (System Conversion) program full life cycle
- At least 2 SAP S/4HANA Greenfield full lifecycle implementations
- Familiarity with cloud transformations (RISE with SAP, hyperscalers)

- Experience in two or more industries like Life Sciences, CPG, Manufacturing, Utilities, etc
- Strong exposure to value realization frameworks and KPI-driven delivery
- SAP or program management certifications (e.g., PMP, SAP Activate)
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional, and global teams
