SAP PI/PO Architect

Infosys is seeking a SAP PI/PO Architect. As a SAP PI/PO Architect, this position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience

  • Location for this position is Richardson,TX or Dallas,TX . This position may require travel to project/client location.

  • Atleast 6 years in SAP development with at least 4 years across SAP PO/PI + EDI integrations.
  • Deep expertise in SAP SD (pricing, shipping, billing, output management, IDoc processing).
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP PO/PI (ESR/IB, adapters-IDoc, AS2, SFTP, REST/SOAP, JDBC; mapping; queues; performance tuning).
  • Experience with integration patterns across SAP PO/PI, IDoc/ALE, EDI (ANSI X12/EDIFACT), APIs, and MFT (AS2/SFTP)
  • Experience in developing SAP PO/PI objects (ESR/IB, mappings-graphical/XSLT/Java, adapter modules), routing, and module parameterization.
  • Strong SAP functional understanding of OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes - sales order creation, pricing, delivery, billing - and how these translate into corresponding IDoc/EDI flows.
  • Good SAP functional knowledge of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) - purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice posting - and related integration touchpoints.
  • Proven delivery leadership in large, multi-partner O2C programs; excellent stakeholder communication.
  • S/4HANA SD experience (e.g., Output Management BRF+, Fiori apps, CDS views) is preferred
  • SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and API management exposure.
  • Experience with major EDI gateways (Seeburger BIS, IBM Sterling B2B, Axway B2Bi) and MFT.
  • Ability to configure SAP SD (pricing, copy controls, delivery/billing, output, partner functions) and build IDoc/message setups (ORDERS, ORDCHG, ORDRSP, DESADV/ASN, INVOIC, REMADV, DELFOR).
  • Ability to guide the team in design and development activities
  • Ability to organize, coordinate and manage technical team activities
  • Ability to perform review of code and design documents
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  • Experience in one of the domains like Manufacturing or Retail or Life Sciences etc is preferred
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
