SAP MM Lead Consultant

Senior SAP MM ConsultantJob Summary
We are looking for a Senior SAP MM Consultant with at least 10 years of hands-on experience to support and drive SAP implementations, rollouts, and support activities. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Materials Management, solid integration knowledge with other SAP modules, and fluent English to work in global, multicultural environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP MM implementation, rollout, and support projects (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM functional solutions following best practices.
• Configure and customize SAP MM processes, including:
  • Purchasing (PR, PO, RFQ)
  • Inventory Management
  • Material Master Data
  • Vendor Master Data
  • Valuation and Account Determination
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, PP, WM/EWM, TM) to ensure seamless integration.
• Support S/4HANA transformations, including process simplification and data migration activities.
• Participate in functional testing (SIT, UAT), defect resolution, and hypercare support.
• Prepare functional documentation: business process designs, configuration documents, and user guides.
• Provide support and guidance to junior consultants and key users.
• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders and business users in English.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of SAP MM consulting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • SAP MM configuration
  • Procurement and inventory processes
  • Integration with SAP FI (mandatory) and SD / PP (desirable).
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Proven experience in global projects and multicultural teams.
• Fluent English (mandatory) - both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in S/4HANA implementation or brownfield conversion projects.
• Exposure to SAP Ariba, SAP EWM, or SAP TM.
• Industry experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, or Commodities.
• SAP MM or S/4HANA certifications.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
