Senior SAP FICO Consultant (AMS | ECC & S/4HANA)
Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant (10+ years of experience) with strong expertise in SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and AMS support environments. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, incident management, and financial process optimization within global support organizations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 SAP FICO support in AMS environments, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and enhancements.
  • Support and optimize end-to-end R2R processes, including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Asset Accounting (AA)
    • Financial Close & Reporting
  • Troubleshoot production issues while ensuring SLA compliance and minimal business impact.
  • Collaborate with global teams to resolve incidents and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support testing activities (SIT/UAT), deployments, and month-end close stabilization.
  • Prepare functional specifications and maintain process documentation.
  • Ensure integration between SAP FI/CO and MM/SD modules.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of SAP FICO experience
  • Strong experience with:
    • SAP ECC & S/4HANA Finance
    • AMS support and incident-driven environments
    • Global delivery/support models
  • Proven expertise in:
    • R2R processes
    • Financial process support and optimization
    • Incident management and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on configuration and support experience in SAP FI/CO.
  • Strong integration knowledge with MM (P2P) and SD (O2C).
Technical Skills
  • SAP FI/CO (ECC & S/4HANA)
  • GL, AP, AR, AA, Financial Closing & Reporting
  • MM and SD integration
  • ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar ITSM tools
  • IDOCs, interfaces, and integrations
  • SAP Fiori exposure (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in S/4HANA migration or transformation projects.
  • Experience supporting multi-country or LATAM environments.
  • Knowledge of tax, localization, and e-invoicing processes.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced, incident-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with global and multicultural teams.
  • Proactive mindset with strong ownership.
Languages
  • English: Fluent (Mandatory)
