Key Responsibilities1. AMS Ownership & Functional Leadership
- Act as functional lead for SAP In-House Cash Management (IHC) within the AMS scope
- Own L2/L3 support for IHC-related issues across landscapes (ECC / S/4HANA)
- Ensure SLA adherence, ticket quality, and root cause resolution
- Guide and mentor junior consultants and analysts within the AMS team

- Support core SAP IHC components including:
- In-House Cash Account Management
- Internal payment processing
- Netting and settlement
- Integration with FI, Treasury, BCM, and Bank Communication
- Analyze and resolve issues related to:
- Internal bank postings
- Clearing and reconciliation errors
- Posting logic and document splits
- Cash position discrepancies
3. Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Perform impact analysis and solution design for change requests (CRs)
- Drive problem management by identifying recurring issues and implementing permanent fixes
- Coordinate UAT support and validate functional solutions for enhancements
- Ensure configuration and changes align with SOX and audit controls
4. Business Process & Optimization
- Work closely with business stakeholders (Treasury, Finance, AP/AR) to:
- Understand cash flow issues and pain points
- Propose process improvements and automation
- Optimize internal bank processes and posting performance
- Support transition from ECC to S/4HANA IHC (if applicable)
5. Integration & Cross-Module Collaboration
- Collaborate with:
- SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting)
- SAP Treasury & Risk Management (TRM)
- Bank Communication Management (BCM)
- Ensure seamless integration between:
- External banks and internal bank
- Payment medium workbench and clearing flows
6. Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain and update:
- Functional specifications
- Configuration documents
- SOPs and knowledge articles
- Support AMS transitions and handovers
- Contribute to continuous improvement and reusable AMS assets
