Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the development and maintenance of a repeatable data load and migration process for SAP implementations.
• Collaborate with the client to oversee the Data Migration team responsible for identifying, extracting, cleansing, mapping, and loading master and transactional data from multiple sources into SAP systems.
• Provide expert guidance on data assessment processes and procedures.
• Advise and take accountability for ETL design and implementation.
• Manage and coordinate data load activities across all phases of migration.
• Develop load programs using custom ABAP or SAP tools such as LSMW, LTMC/Migration Cockpit, ALE, etc.
• Perform manual data transformation from legacy systems to SAP-compatible formats.
• Execute manual and automated data loads using SAP or other automation tools.
• Work closely with functional consultants to validate data and resolve errors.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all data loads into the SAP system.

Expectations

• Own the end to end data migration architecture, strategy, and execution across systems and platforms.
• Lead data profiling, mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Define migration tools, frameworks, standards, and cutover plans while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Provide hands on technical guidance, mentor migration developers, and review code and deliverables for quality.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with business, QA, infrastructure, and program stakeholders, ensuring transparency on status and issues.
• Be accountable for timely, compliant, and zero defect migrations aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
