Infosys is seeking a SAP ABAP Technology Architect

This position will require a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client's and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
  • This position is based near Raleigh, NC. The c andidate must be willing to travel to office location.

  • Atleast 7 years of strong experience in SAP ABAP development with atleast 2 S/4 HANA implementations
  • Proven expertise in ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, ODATA, AMDP, performance tuning).
  • Strong proficiency in Proxies, Pricing Routines, and ABAP Classes/OO programming.
  • Hands-on experience in Forms, Adobe Forms, Reports, and debugging complex issues.
  • Good understanding and working experience in integrating ABAP developments.
  • Strong exposure to RICEF/RICEFW development.
  • Experience in leading a technical team, conducting code reviews, and guiding junior developers.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, solution proposals, and technical architecture.
  • Relevant SAP certifications in SAP ABAP on S/4HANA preferred.
  • Develop and implement technical specifications
  • Understand functional specifications
  • Develop and implement Program Objects
  • Perform unit testing
  • Support FUT, SIT, UAT
  • Support functional consultants in designing solutions for the gaps identified
  • Should be very good at technical Architecture, hands on activities and solution assurance.
  • Reports - ALV, Classical, Module pool programs
  • Interfaces - File based, OData, Web Services, Proxies, RFC, ALE/IDOC, BAPI
  • Conversion - LSMW, BDC / Custom Built
  • Enhancements - User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework
  • Forms - SAP Script, Smart forms, Adobe forms
  • Knowledge in OO ABAP, BRF+, Workflows and Webdynpro
  • Fiori/UI App development
  • Exposure to delivering in Agile Methodology
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in working in Global delivery model will be an added advantage
  • Hands on experience in designing customized transactions, programs and delivering solutions in SAP
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of SAP implementation methodologies
  • Strong English verbal and written skills
  • Strong organizational skills and eagerness to drive deliverables to closure
  • Strong interpersonal & client management skills
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
