Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Sampling & MRO Data Lead on executing the Sampling strategy
  • Plan, prepare and perform the Whole Engine/ Module Sampling and Ad-hoc tech support requests at Engine Overhaul Shops
  • Identify / launch Overhaul Shop Observation Reports (OSORs) into the process
  • Identify the Service Cost initiatives and support business cases with supply of data and review the implementation of Cost Initiatives
  • Be the face of Rolls Royce - Overhaul Services Engineering in the shop
  • As / when requested by the OST: assist / advise the shop's engineering team on technical issues (ref. Overhaul Shop Technical Support Model)
  • Be the interface between the Sampling & MRO Data Lead, the Overhaul Shop and the Shop Data Engineers.

  • hands-on Aero-Engine Products and working experience in Engine Overhaul Shops
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME)
Required Skills
  • Previous Aero-Engine Overhaul Shop exposure is must
  • Experience working and Aero-Engine products
  • Knowledgeable of Aero-Engine, its Modules, Parts and terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with external customers
  • Communications and networking skills with an ability to deliver clear messages at all levels of an organization
  • Process Management and process change / improvement
  • Proven track record of being self-directed, results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals despite ambiguity and multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to exercise engineering judgement to identify Safety/Reliability/Cost issues and provide solutions
