Role Description:
The S/4HANA Embedded Analytics / SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting analytics solutions that enable real-time reporting, visualization, planning, and decision-making across SAP S/4HANA landscapes. The role focuses on leveraging Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, Fiori analytical apps, and SAP Analytics Cloud to deliver business insights, executive dashboards, and planning capabilities aligned with enterprise reporting and performance management needs.
Location: Brisbane
Salary: AUD 150,742 - 171,215 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end implementation, rollout, and enhancement of S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions
• Gather and analyse business requirements for operational reporting, management dashboards, KPI monitoring, and planning needs
• Design and enable Embedded Analytics using CDS Views, analytical queries, KPIs, and Fiori analytical applications
• Build and configure SAC stories, dashboards, planning models, and visualizations for business and leadership stakeholders
• Define and implement reporting solutions for Finance, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Asset Management, and Projects
• Work with functional teams to translate business processes and KPIs into scalable analytics and reporting solutions
• Support integration between SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Datasphere, and SAC where applicable
• Enable drill-down reporting, self-service analytics, and executive dashboarding capabilities
• Support data modelling, performance optimization, and validation of analytical outputs
• Drive user workshops, report prototyping, UAT support, and end-user training
• Collaborate with technical teams on authorizations, data access, transport management, and custom analytical developments
• Ensure reporting governance, data consistency, and alignment with enterprise data and analytics standards
Technical Expertise Requirements
• Business requirement documents (BRD) and functional/analytics specifications
• Reporting and dashboard design documents
• CDS View design specifications and analytical query documentation
• SAC storyboards, planning models, KPI catalogs, and visualization templates
• Fiori analytical app configuration and enablement documentation
• Integration design documents for S/4HANA, SAC, BW/4HANA, or Datasphere scenarios
• Test scripts, test execution results, and defect logs
• Data validation and reconciliation documentation
• User manuals, training materials, and knowledge transfer documents
• Go-live readiness documents and post-go-live support plans
Essential:
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Hands-on expertise in CDS Views, analytical queries, KPI modelling, and Fiori analytical applications
• Experience in designing interactive dashboards, management reports, and executive analytics

• Strong understanding of real-time operational reporting in SAP S/4HANA
• Experience with SAC stories, models, data actions, planning capabilities, and visualizations
• Knowledge of integration with BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or other SAP analytics platforms
• Good understanding of cross-functional business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, EAM, and Projects
• Experience in user requirement gathering, dashboard design, data validation, and performance tuning
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business KPIs into scalable and user-friendly reporting solutions
ADDITIONAL
• Experience with SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA, or hybrid SAP analytics landscapes
• Exposure to predictive analytics, augmented analytics, or AI-assisted insights in SAC
• Experience with planning and forecasting use cases in SAC
• Knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects reporting tools and migration to modern analytics platforms
• Familiarity with authorization concepts and row-level security in analytics solutions
• SAP certification in SAP Analytics Cloud, S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, or related areas
• Experience in global template rollouts and multi-country reporting environments
• Familiarity with SAP Activate, Agile, and reporting governance frameworks
