ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Regional Client Operations Lead serves as the key operational and relationship leader for Finance & Accounting delivery across assigned countries. This role partners closely with Country CFOs, Controllers, and global process owners to drive performance, compliance, standardization, and continuous improvement across the region.
We are looking for a candidate with:
• 10-12 years of experience in Finance & Accounting operations, with at least 5 years in a regional or multi-country leadership role.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end F&A processes (PTP, OTC, RTR, FP&A).
• Experience managing cross-cultural teams and delivering in a global operations model.
• Demonstrated success in stakeholder and client relationship management, especially with senior finance leaders (e.g., Controllers, CFOs).
• Strong capability in issue management, escalation handling, and cross-tower coordination.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of internal controls, audit requirements, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting transformation programs, transitions, TO-BE design, and hypercare.
• Ability to drive process standardization, harmonization, and governance across multiple countries.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
• Preferred experience in Shared Service Centers (SSC) or Global Business Services (GBS).
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Your key activities:
Regional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the single point of contact for Country CFOs, Controllers, and in-country Finance leadership.
- Maintain strong, continuous relationship management with each country to ensure alignment, transparency, and trust.
- Represent the region in governance meetings, performance reviews, and steering committee sessions, presenting operational results, risks, and improvement plans .
- Drive regional SLA/KPI performance, ensuring consistent delivery of service excellence across all F&A towers.
- Provide consolidated regional insights, trends, and risk analysis to support leadership decision-making.
- Manage escalations and coordinate issue resolution across PTP, OTC, RTR, and FP&A teams, ensuring timely actions and root-cause fixes.
- Ensure adherence to process controls, compliance standards, internal policies, and local self-assessments.
- Support TO-BE process design, transition planning, knowledge transfer, and hyper care stabilization for new or evolving services.
- Drive standardization and harmonization of processes, ways of working, and documentation across all countries in the region.
- Partner with global leads to harmonize policies, leverage best practices, and improve process maturity.
- Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute productivity, automation, and optimization initiatives.
- Ensure operational readiness, resource planning, and capability alignment to support business continuity.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and high performance across regional teams.
