Record to Report Process Lead (RTR)
Currently we are looking for a candidate for the position of:
Record to Report Process Lead (RTR)
Location: Lodz - hybrid work
Responsibilities:
Executing period-end and year-end closing activities for assigned entities (one or multiple countries), including calendar preparation, cut-off management, dependency tracking, checklist coordination, and collaboration with the Back Office team in India
Acting as the Primary Point of Contact (SPOC) for all RTR-related matters for designated entities
Providing full end-to-end transparency to Controllers, including MEC status updates, identified risks, open items, late postings, reconciliation issues, intercompany mismatches, and other critical elements
Preparing and posting journal entries in accordance with accounting standards and internal guidelines
Developing and maintaining period-end closing reports to support accurate financial oversight
Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring high-quality and timely completion
Managing Fixed Assets accounting activities, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation
Delivering internal and external periodic reporting as required by the business and compliance functions
Creating and maintaining up-to-date process documentation, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards
Performing quality control checks and maintaining a robust internal control environment, ensuring adherence to SOPs, policies, compliance, and audit requirements
Requirements:
3-5 years of professional experience in the Record to Report (RTR) area
University diploma preferred, ideally in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage month-end close (MEC) deadlines
Excellent end-to-end understanding of RTR processes and solid hands-on MEC experience
Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 would be an advantage
Experience in process transitions or migrations will be considered as an asset
Confidence in managing MEC-related interactions, including handling escalations
High level of accountability, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently
