React GIS Front end developer

Infosys is seeking a React GIS Front end developer In this role, you will be a technology professional, adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; provide technology consultation; reverse engineer the application code; debug logs and code to find root cause; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; anchor Proof of Concept developments; create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Develop advanced GIS web applications using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.x, React, and TypeScript, delivering responsive, high performance mapping interfaces and custom widgets that enhance user workflows.
Implement and optimize geospatial data processing workflows, building and tuning Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages; automate spatial analytics using Python and ArcPy to support enterprise data pipelines.
Configure, publish, and maintain GIS services within ArcGIS Enterprise, including Portal, ArcGIS Server, and Data Store; manage service definitions, item metadata, security, and performance troubleshooting.
Contribute to GIS system integration efforts, developing and consuming REST services, integrating with Oracle Spatial, FME, and third party CAD/GIS tools such as MicroStation product, with optional telecom domain data models.
Apply DevOps practices to GIS development, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and participation in Agile ceremonies to ensure consistent code quality and predictable delivery.
Provide senior level technical guidance, mentoring junior developers, communicating technical concepts to non technical stakeholders, and contributing to innovation initiatives such as AI enabled GIS solutions (e.g., predictive modeling, spatial ML workflows).

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
