Quality Engineering Lead

Infosys is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead.

As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
  • 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, ON or be willing to relocate to one of these areas. This position may require travel.
  • At least 4 years of software testing experience.
Technical and Professional Requirements:

  • Experience in end-to-end quality engineering, test management, and application testing.
  • Experience in Banking, Cards, and Payments domains.
  • Experience validating payment interfaces, file integrations, APIs, ETL workflows, and data warehouse solutions.
  • Experience in SIT, UAT, functional testing, and release readiness activities.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, or similar.
  • Experience with database validation and data quality testing.
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence for test management and project collaboration.
  • Experience creating test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, RTM, and test documentation.
  • Experience leading defect triage, issue management, risk mitigation, and release governance activities.
  • Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and SDLC delivery models.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, third-party providers, and client stakeholders.
  • Experience providing quality metrics, status reporting, forecasting inputs, and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and supporting governance reviews.

  • Client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Leadership communication and executive reporting.
  • Mentoring and guiding QA teams.
  • Analytical problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Data-driven reporting and quality metrics management.
  • Business process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Program governance and release management experience.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
