Quality Engineering Lead

Infosys is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead
As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofCalgary, ABor be willing to relocate to one of these areas.
  • At least 4 years of software testing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and enterprise applications using WebDriver IO/JavaScript/Typescript and Vitest
  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to identify automation opportunities
  • Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks and utilities
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and quality risks
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure test coverage and quality alignment
  • Perform test data preparation and environment validation for automation execution
  • Log defects with clear steps and work with development teams through resolution
  • Participate in code reviews, automation best practices, and QA process improvements
  • Provide estimates, status updates, and risk assessments for assigned tasks

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
