Python, pySpark, SQL Developer

Infosys is seeking a Python, pySpark, SQL Developer . In the role of Technology Lead, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Minneapolis, MN or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of Experience
• 4 years of software development experience with a strong focus on Python, pySpark and SQL DB

Preferred Qualifications:-

• Strong programming expertise in:
  
• Java (Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs)
  
• Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI preferred, but not mandatory)
  
• Advanced SQL (Joins, indexing, query optimization)
  
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
  
• Good understanding of OOP concepts, MVC, and design patterns.

Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).

Experience with version control tools (Git).

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes is an advantage.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
