Python Developer with DevOps SRE

Infosys is seeking a skilled and motivated Python Developer with DevOps SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) automation and migration experience. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across our infrastructure while driving automation initiatives and migrating our observability stack. This role requires expertise in Kubernetes, Python, and observability platforms such as Grafana and Prometheus. You will collaborate with development, operations, and platform teams to build resilient systems, automate repetitive tasks, and improve observability and incident response.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in Python and DevOps / SRE roles with migration responsibilities.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting).
- Experience developing and maintaining Python scripts/tools for automation, monitoring, and support.
- Provide operational support for telemetry and observability stacks in a Kubernetes environment.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, etc.).
- Familiarity with logging and tracing systems (e.g., Loki, Tempo).
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable working in a Linux-based environment and with Git-based workflows.
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to ensure system observability and performance.
- Experience with service meshes (e.g., Cilium).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Pulumi, Terraform, Helm) and deployment automation platforms (e.g., Spinnaker)
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP).
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Exposure to machine learning-based anomaly detection for reliability (optional future-focused skill).
