Position Title: IT Project Manager (8+ years)
Job Location: Monterrey, CDMX, GDL, Mexico
Job Purpose
Manage various End User Services projects as assigned.
The Project Manager will plan and manage various projects for End User Services. They will lead meetings, have oversight to the work of multiple project teams.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is accountable for ensuring successful completion of projects, on-time, within budget, and error-free. The principal responsibility of the Project Manager is to manage the planning and execution of project activities. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the project charter, communications, metrics, reporting, and the overall project plan and budget.

  • Project Manager will support various project teams and obtain/provide a variety of information starting at concept stage and continuing through prototype, pilot, implementation and follow-up stages of various projects.
  • Develop and produce project management schedules, timelines, burn-up/burn-down charts in various tools.
  • Manage change and take active leadership in driving timely decision making and documentation.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate report-outs to stakeholders which may include department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, etc.
  • Responsible for adherence to Department's Risk, Issue and Decision Management process including documentation, reporting and remediation.
  • May also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.

  • The position typically requires a college or university degree or certification that is equivalent.
  • 8+ years of direct project management experience working with software engineering or technical teams
  • Proven experience with project management concepts including project charters, scheduling and planning projects and successful completion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or influence others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.
  • Must be competent to perform all project management activities without close supervision; normally assigned the more complex aspects of systems work.
  • Should have strong project management skills, team leadership skills, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask effectively, strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Must be competent to use professional project management tools such as MS Project and techniques to manage reporting, tracking charts, checklist, and project scheduling software and to delegate appropriately.
  • Candidate should be competent in O365 tools including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • Candidate should have a sense of urgency to manage issues and demonstrate proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Candidate should be comfortable in executing work in either an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) manner or in a Waterfall methodology as the needs of the effort dictate.
  • Experience with JIRA and Chalk
  • RPA/UiPath knowledge
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • ScrumMaster Certification (CSM or SM)
  • Other Agile Certification(s)
  • Telecom domain experience preferred
  • Experience with case management tools like Servienow is preferred
