Hong Kong Project Manager
Principal responsibilities
- Lead the delivery team to provide project management and internal consultancy services on project / systems implementation, workflow design, and process re-engineering.
- Actively monitor the project scope and resources to meet the project schedule and budget.
- Work closely with various stakeholders including business users, Group counterparts, operations, IT, audit, legal and compliance to ensure effective project implementation.
- Run forums, align senior stakeholders and drive timely decisions and escalations.
- Proactively manage all the potential risks on projects and recommend mitigating measures if required.
- Keep abreast on latest technology / best practices in banking industry and deliver changes to current processes with efficiency and cost improvement.
- Foster a high engagement team to deliver good quality outputs which exceed user expectations.
- University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in project management area.
- Knowledge in retail banking business, especially in credit card and unsecured loan, is preferred.
- Experience as a project leader in large-scale transformation / revamp project will be an advantage.
- Strong capability in planning, governance, financial management, and dependency management within complex environments.
- Agile knowledge and scrum master experience will be an advantage.
- Being proactive with strong stakeholder and communication skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Local language.
- Ability to adopt a growth mindset and proactively identify and bring about change opportunities.
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective front-to-back processes, and excel customer experience.
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
