Principal Technology Architect
Infosys is seeking a Principal Technology Architect in Banking domain. The resource will be joining our financial services Architecture team, this is a specialized team with expertise in supporting Enterprise Architecture for Banking, Cards & Payments, Mortgage etc., domain projects. Candidate will be responsible to interface with end-users, IT teams and key stakeholders to gather system requirements. Will also apply technical proficiency across different stages of the software development life cycle including requirements elicitation; this opportunity is to be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- At least 15 years of overall technology experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Architecture or CTO Advisory roles
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

- Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Capital Markets, or Payments.
- Proven experience driving Cloud, Data, AI, Digital Engineering, and/or technology modernization initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong banking and financial services domain knowledge, including banking and payments ecosystems.
- Experience leading or supporting core banking modernization, including transformation of legacy platforms and technology capabilities.
- Strong understanding of digital channels and customer-facing platforms, including modernization of digital banking experiences.
- Experience applying FinOps principles to support cloud financial management, cost optimization, and technology efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience with AI-enabled SDLC transformation, including the adoption of AI capabilities across software engineering and delivery practices.
- Experience implementing or operating within a Product Operating Model and enabling product-centric technology delivery.
- Ability to translate business and technology strategies into enterprise architecture, transformation roadmaps, and modernization priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic technology and architectural guidance to senior stakeholders and influence decisions across business and technology teams.
- Ability to balance innovation, modernization, operational resilience, governance, and business outcomes when shaping enterprise technology strategy.
- Good to have
- TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification
- Cloud architecture certification, such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or equivalent
- AI/ML or Generative AI certification from a recognized technology provider
- Kubernetes / Cloud Native certification
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps certification
- Additional certifications in cloud, AI, platform engineering, or emerging technologies are considered an asset
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based on the below location will be:
Ontario: 118,075 - 143,497
