Principal SAP Security Consultant
Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP Security Consultant
As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team and subject matter expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.

- This position is based in Buffalo, NY. The role may require travel to project/Client's location.
• Design and Architect:
Design the SAP authorization framework, create security roadmaps for SAP transformations, and serve as a security solution architect.
• Role Management:
Develop, implement, and manage roles and profiles using tools like PFCG, and maintain user administration processes.
• Risk Management:
Implement and monitor access controls, perform risk analysis for Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts, and develop remediation strategies using SAP security tools.
• GRC & Audit Compliance:
Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations like SOX and GDPR and ensure audit readiness.
• Integration:
Manage the integration of SAP solutions with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) architecture for secure access.

• Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and mentor the security team, manage their workload, and collaborate with SAP, third-party vendors, and internal teams like IT Security and Infrastructure.
• Project Support:
Provide security support for project upgrades, patching, and new implementations, including reviewing design reviews and security plans.
• Documentation:
Create and maintain technical SAP documentation and standard operating procedures.
Essential Skills
• Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, GRC tools (Compliance Calibrator, Access Enforcer, Firefighter), PFCG, and user administration tools.
• Project Management:
Ability to create project plans, track schedules, and manage team priorities in large-scale implementation projects.
• Leadership:
Strong leadership skills to mentor and develop team members, manage offshore teams, and guide the security function.
• Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to report to stakeholders and build client relationships.
• Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify vulnerabilities, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
