Principal SAP FICO/RTR Enterprise Applications Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP FICO/RTR Enterprise Applications Consultant

As a Principal Enterprise Applications SAP consultant, you will be a expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Location for this position is Raleigh, NC. This position may require travel to client location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 11 years of SAP RTR with CO experience with atleast 2 implementation experience
• The candidate is expected to play the role of an RTR with CO expert for Oracle to SAP S/4 HANA Migration, S/4 upgrades
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI & CO modules
• Expertise in Inventory valuation and accounting, Standard costing, Cost collectors and WIP, Product costing (Manufacturing & R&D)
• Strong understanding of AP accounting and vendor payment flows, GL postings from MM and PP
• Working knowledge of SAP MM & PP integration points, BOM, Routing, Work Centers from Finance impact perspective
• Configure Finance and Controlling structures to support new plants:
  • Company code / plant / storage location alignment
  • Cost centers, profit centers, and controlling areas (as applicable)
• Configure and validate standard costing-based valuation
• Support inventory quantity and value initialization during plant start-up.
• Configure and support: Cost collectors, WIP tracking and valuation using cost collectors
• Support Costing run set-up and initialization, Production vs R&D product and costing segregation
• Support Finance/CO activities for manufacturing setup: Direct material consumption on cost collectors, WIP valuation accuracy, Production order and R&D costing segregation
• Configure and support Accounts Payable processes on SAP
• Ensure alignment with procurement and inventory postings: Inventory and WIP quantity/value initialization at go-live
• Validate financial cutover balances transferred from Legacy to SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in working in Global delivery model will be an added advantage
• Experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment.
• Experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design/Detailing of RTR processes.
• Able to analyze RTR including CO related business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution
• Hands on experience in designing customized transactions, programs and delivering solutions in SAP
• Strong communication, both written and verbal
• Understanding of SAP implementation methodologies
• Experience in handling Interfaces with 3rd party system IDOC/ ALE/ Flat File
• Experience with project management
• Strong English verbal and written skills
• Strong organizational skills and eagerness to drive deliverables to closure
• Strong interpersonal & client management skills
