Principal RPA Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal RPA Consultant. As a Principal RPA Consultant you will be detail-oriented and business-focused RPA Principal consultant to help identify opportunities for the practice, present proposals to clients, lead engagements from launch to closure, participate in and contribute to different practice-level and organization-level initiatives with the objective of ensuring smooth operations of the practice. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of Relevant Information Technology experience.
  • Location for this position is Sunnyvale, CA. This position requires relocation and/or travel to project/client location .
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 10-12 years of experience in project management, business analysis with at least 2 years in RPA-related roles
  • . Exposure to hybrid automation environments and Agentic AI concepts.
  • Strong understanding of RPA platforms such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
  • Experience in documenting business processes and creating PDDs, reviewing SDDs and coordinating across stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with retail/manufacturing operations and automation use cases.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Lead development of RPA project proposals, scope definitions, estimates, timelines, and value propositions aligned to client objectives.
  • Support RPA deal structuring, pricing, risk assessment, and contract negotiations to ensure commercially viable and deliverable projects.
  • Assemble project teams, define roles and responsibilities, and onboard resources to ensure readiness before project launch.
  • Plan and execute RPA project kick-offs, define governance models, delivery frameworks, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risks throughout the RPA project lifecycle to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, communication, escalations, and satisfaction.
  • Track project KPIs, identify risks and issues early, implement mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Lead formal project closure activities including sign-offs, lessons learned, financial closure, and performance reporting.
  • Contribute to organizational initiatives by improving delivery processes, sharing best practices, and building reusable assets.
  • Support change management, training, and adoption efforts for automation initiatives.
  • Monitor automation performance against business KPIs and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of automation roadmaps and reusable assets within the CoE.
  • Explore integration of Agentic AI capabilities to enhance automation with intelligent decision-making.
  • Coordinate between business stakeholders, RPA developers, and infrastructure teams.
  • Contribute to automation roadmap planning and integration of advanced AI capabilities.
