Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Banking Platform (OBP) Consultant with strong expertise in banking application design, development, and support. Responsible for delivering end-to-end OBP solutions across lending, deposits, and workflow automation while driving application modernization and platform stability. Collaborates with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to implement scalable and high-performing banking solutions.

Salary: AUD 150,742 -171,215 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Oracle Banking Platform (OBP) solutions for Lending, Deposits, and Origination workflows.
- Lead solution analysis, application architecture, and technical design activities across the SDLC.
- Develop and enhance applications using Oracle BPM, SOA Suite, ADF, Java, and J2EE technologies.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Functional Leads, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable banking solutions.
- Support application modernization, migration, retrofit initiatives, and platform stabilization programs.
- Perform production support, root cause analysis, defect resolution, and implementation of enhancements.
- Coordinate multi-environment deployments, testing activities, and release management for business-critical applications.
- Drive automation, code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to Agile delivery practices.
- 15+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years in Oracle Banking Platform (OBP) development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, SQL, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
- Expertise in Oracle Banking Platform (OBP), Oracle BPM, Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
- Experience with Oracle ADF, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and workflow-driven application development.
- Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache Tomcat, and Oracle HTTP Server.
- Strong understanding of web services and integration technologies including SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSD, and XPath.
- Experience working with Oracle databases (11g/12c and above) and performance optimization techniques.
- Proven experience working across all SDLC phases using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field (a Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus).
- Oracle SOA Suite 11g Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Oracle BPM Implementation Certification (preferred).
