Role : Senior Network Security Engineer

Location: Perth, Aus


Salary: AUD 150,742- 171,215 Annual Gross

Job Responsibilities

  • This individual will be the focal person for operations of the entire Networking Infrastructure starting from Wireless Access Points to Inter-DC WAN Networks
  • This individual will also contribute to the execution of build and transformation related projects working in tandem with the engineering teams from the customer
  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

Technical Exposure
  • • In-depth knowledge of the OSI network model, Routing, switching, SDWAN, Wireless (AP's & WLC's)
  • • Hands on experience on Azure, Cisco ISE, F5, Infoblox, Meraki is adding benefits to current role.
  • • Network protocols and technologies, e.g. DNS, HTTP, SSL, 802.1x, DMVPN, TACACS+, RADIUS, Load Balancing, WAN optimization, SD-WAN, SSL VPN.
  • • Knowledge of Cisco network products (Nexus and Catalyst switches, routers, WLC, ISE) configuration, Installation and troubleshooting.
  • • Knowledge of F5 load balancer configuration (GTM), Installation and troubleshooting.
  • • Design and implement robust, scalable wireless solutions (WLAN) to support mobile connectivity and productivity in post-merger environments.
  • • Deploy and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls to protect the newly integrated infrastructure, ensuring advanced threat prevention
  • • Utilize Illumio Adaptive Security Platform to implement micro-segmentation strategies.
  • • Network - WAN/LAN/WLAN/MAN/MPLS/VPN and data communications technologies.
  • • Expertise in Routing and switching protocols - BGP, EIGRP, OSPF,HSRP,VRRP,LDP,RSVP, STP, RSTP, MSTP,Multicast,Policy based routing
  • • Configure ASA firewalls, Cisco Next-Gen firewalls experience, MPLS, F5 expertise
  • • IPS/IDS
  • • Bluecoat Security Platform - Proxy servers and Management Center
  • • Cisco Web Security Appliances
  • • CISCO ISE
  • • Firewalls & Web Application Firewall
  • • OT Network experience must ,Data Center Virtualization-Architecture and Design, ,Cisco Web Security Appliances Advanced BIG-IP LTM configurations - VLAN tagging and trucking, SNMP features and packet filters

Preferred Qualification
  • CCNP and CCNA Certification
  • Aruba Certified SDWAN deployment Professional
  • Aruba Certified SD-WAN Deployment Expert
  • Level-3 experience is mandatory.
  • Understand the technical requirement form the BU and come up with proposal.
  • Ability to work on multiple critical task's individually and flexible to work in rotational shifts.
  • Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written and able to support in rotational shifts.
  • Flexible in working hours to support global project and migration during non-business hours.
  • Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation on each project.
  • Knowledge in advanced networking and infra security domain
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving the overall network health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency
  • Evaluate new technologies and platforms to determine whether their applicability aligns with the businesses needs
