Principal, Business Consulting - SAP Idea-To-Market (Semiconductor)

We are seeking a strategic and innovation-focused Principal Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Idea to Market (I2M) and a strong understanding of the semiconductor industry. This role will focus on enabling product lifecycle transformation by aligning SAP capabilities with business strategy across R&D, product development, portfolio management, and market launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy consulting engagements focused on SAP S/4HANA Idea to Market transformation.
- Define and optimize end-to-end I2M processes including:
- Product and portfolio planning
- R&D project management and cost tracking
- Product lifecycle and variant management
- Market launch readiness and commercialization
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product management, marketing, finance, and IT.
- Develop transformation roadmaps, business cases, and value realization plans.
- Advise on semiconductor-specific innovation models such as:
- IP and technology licensing
- Fabless design and foundry collaboration
- Rapid prototyping and time-to-market acceleration
- Support change management, process harmonization, and digital enablement initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in strategy or business consulting, with at least 3 years in SAP S/4HANA Idea to Market or PLM-related domains.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor product development and innovation cycles.
- Proven experience in strategy development, process design, and SAP-enabled transformation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and executive stakeholder engagement skills.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Experience with SAP PLM, Siemens Teamcenter, SAP Project System (PS), SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), or SAP Innovation Management.
- Familiarity with semiconductor industry trends, global R&D operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Agile or SAP Activate methodology.
