Salary Range: (AUD $128,191 - $136,132 AUD) Annual Gross.

We are seeking highly skilled hands-on Performance Engineer experience to collaborate with Design, Architects, PO, third party vendors and implement Performance Tunings solutions for cloud and in house applications, highly skilled Mainframe, Big Data, Payments, Microsoft Azure and AWS SaaS/PaaS services.
Must have Skills.:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver end-to-end performance testing and tuning strategies and roadmaps
- Build custom performance tools using Java / relevant technologies
- Experienced with Performance Center and various performance testing tools
- Define and manage non-functional requirements
- Lead performance testing strategy, execution, and analysis across multi-cloud and third-party systems
- Identify bottlenecks and partner with DevOps, Data, and Engineering teams to optimize performance
- Develop and maintain automated performance testing frameworks
- Perform capacity planning, chaos engineering, and apply SRE practices
- Optimize ETL processes and data pipelines
- Work across Azure PaaS (Synapse, Spark, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake / ELZ)
- Support performance across Mainframe, Big Data, Payments, Kafka, microservices, Teradata, and Oracle
- Experience with batch performance testing and strategies
- Produce clear performance insights and recommendations for stakeholders
- Mentor team members and promote best practices
- Stay current with emerging trends, including AI-driven performance engineering and testing.
- Experience with App Dynamics, Splunk and various cloud monitor tools
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 10 years of experience with Information Technology
