Partner, Business Consulting - Utilities Sector
Infosys Consulting is seeking a seasoned Partner - Business Consulting to join our North American Utilities practice, focusing on Customer Information Systems (CIS) transformation leveraging SAP platforms focusing on SAP S/4HANA transformations. This leadership role blends strategic advisory, program delivery, and business development within a fast-evolving utilities sector.
Core Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Bring current relationships and build and maintain professional relationships with senior and C-level client executives. Expand professional network in client organizations. Should be well acquainted with clients business situation, able to speak on behalf of the clients best interests, and act as a trusted advisor, offering differing viewpoints from client executives where necessary. Anchor new and existing client accounts, and interface on engagement-level client concerns.

Engagement Delivery and Management: Take bottom line responsibility for Infosys program execution. This includes providing vision and guidance to the team, bringing industry expertise to the engagement, managing key client stakeholders, periodic program review and ensuring quality checks are in place. Need to be able to intervene in critical situations and manage client escalations, working collaboratively with all parts of Infosys. Must be active in the details of the program and have a positive impact on the outcome.
Proposal Development and Delivery: Lead teams to prepare large proposals and program plans, identify Infosys differentiators, articulate our unique value proposition, review and fine tune the financials, and lead proposal presentations in order to create a compelling proposition for the client to engage Infosys.
Opportunity Identification/ Creation: Create/identify multi-million-dollar opportunities within existing and new clients using industry expertise, industry relationships, intellectual capital, background in potential problem areas, knowledge of upcoming regulatory and market changes, and Infosys services offerings in order to create engagement opportunities.
Contract Negotiation: Analyze the probability of winning the deal & the criticality of the deal for Infosys, as well as appropriately prepare for negotiations on terms and conditions of the engagement with the client and obtain confirmation and approval from all internal stakeholders to ensure timely and smooth closure of the deal.
Talent Management: Demonstrate the ability to attract, develop and retain top consulting talent and the next generation of Infosys Consulting leaders.
Industry Eminence: Publish leading thinking on industry trends and participate in Industry forums co-presenting with clients on solutions to industry problems.
Practice Building: Identify growth strategies leveraging the full complement of Infosys capabilities. Lead development of new offerings and building capabilities to deliver to clients.
Operations: Ensure operational excellence within portfolio, including pipeline management, forecasting, cash collections, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 15 years of leadership experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience.
- Must have at least 10 years of consulting experience in Utilities.
- SAP consulting experience with a focus on SAP S/4HANA solutions
- At least two full cycle SAP S/4HANA program in any industry
- At least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA program for a utility with a customer base exceeding 1 million.
- At least one Phase 0 engagement for a utility for defining the S/4HANA roadmap, architecture, business process and benefits documentation, developing cost models and regulatory business case support
- Willingness to travel up to 80%.

- M.B.A or equivalent advanced degree
- 18+ years of leadership experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience with an industry or service offering focus.
- Big 4 or equivalent experience in a Partner Capacity
- Global Delivery Model experience.
