Infosys is seeking for a Test Lead with OMS experience.
As a QA Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- 4 years of Information Technology experience

- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position has to travel to office all 5 days.
- Good understanding of the Software Test life cycle activities through practice in multiple Projects.
- Analytical and good Communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 4+ years of experience of OMS/NMS Functional + Automation Test Lead with strong domain expertise in Outage Management Systems (OMS) and Network Management Systems (NMS).
- The candidate will lead functional and automation testing efforts, define automation strategies using UFT and C#, and ensure high-quality delivery across complex upstream and downstream integration landscapes.
- Identify automation candidates and drive shift-left and regression automation initiatives.
- Conduct functional validation of outage lifecycle, including detection, prediction, notification, restoration, and closure.
- Validate NMS alarms/events, correlation rules, and OMS integration behavior.
- Review requirements, functional specifications, and interface documents to ensure complete coverage.
- Lead test execution cycles including SIT, System Testing, Integration Testing, UAT support, and Regression Testing.
- Manage and mentor QA team members and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.
- Drive defect triage, root-cause analysis, and collaborate closely with development and business teams.
- Provide test metrics, dashboards, and quality status reports to stakeholders.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret automation results
- Extensive client-facing experience
- Ability to work effectively in a global delivery and onsite-offshore model
- Thorough understanding of Upstream and downstream systems like SCADA, NMS / EMS (alarms, events, performance monitoring), AMI / Smart Meter systems, Network devices and sensors, CIS (Customer Information System), IVR, CRM, Mobile Workforce Management (MWM), Notification Systems (SMS, Email, Push), Data Warehouse / Reporting systems.
