Oracle JD Edwards Technical Lead

Infosys is seeking an Oracle JD Edwards Technical Lead, with extensive experience on JD Edwards E1 development. The position involves being responsible for solution design and governance of the JDE E1 standard as well as custom developments. As a Technical Lead the candidate will be providing technical inputs and leadership support to the Oracle JD Edwards modules and complex business requirements. The candidate will be extensively involved in solutioning, technical feasibility analysis and development estimations to propose/create solutions. Candidate will also play an important role in the design, development, configuration, unit testing and deployment of the overall solution.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Location for this position is Indianapolis, IN, Batesville, IN, Raleigh, NC, Phoenix AZ, Richardson, TX or Hartford CT. This position may require relocation and/or travel to client/project location. Travel to Batesville IN for major milestones will be required.
  • 3 + years of JD Edwards E1 application development experience with finance & supply chain modules
  • Must have at least 2 full life cycle implementations experience, with hands-on exposure in development and configuration, implementation, and support
  • Responsible for leading the technical requirements elicitation, fit-gap analysis, development, configuration, Unit/System integrated testing, and post-production support
  • Must have experience of designing and delivering complex custom solutions in highly integrated 3 rd party peripheral applications with JD Edwards landscape
  • Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
  • Experience in JDE Orchestration, SOAP & REST APIs, BSSV, Transform & BI Publisher reports
  • Experience in handling integration with external partners/ applications
  • Comfortable in designing bank interfaces and retrofitting objects.
  • Ample experience in OMW, ERW, DDICT, TDA, RDA, FDA, BSVW, NER, BSFN, BSSV, UDO and Café One

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Oracle Certification is preferred.
  • Candidate is expected to have sound knowledge of JD Edwards Finance modules like GL, AR, AP and Fixed Assets
  • Expertise in SQL, knowledge on Automations, Bug Fixing, High & Low Level Design and Coding.
  • Well versed with Software Development Life Cycle monitoring and planning tools.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
