Oracle CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) Tech Consultant

Infosys is seeking an Oracle Customer Care and Billing Tech Consultant. This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting life cycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

  • Minimum 7 years of total IT industry experience, with at least 4 years in implementing Oracle CC&B.
  • Experience of at least 1 or 2 full-cycle implementations for a utility (Power/Water/Swear Water Domain) with hands on technical and deployment experience in Oracle CC&B.
  • Familiarity with process integration of CC&B with other utility enterprises and operational systems such as core ERP, WAM, MWM, MDM, GIS etc. Very Good understanding of Oracle CC&B Product Architecture, Oracle PIP, Data Model, Oracle Utilities Application Framework
  • Exposure to US or Middle East (Regulated and De-Regulated) Markets
  • Very good knowledge in CC&B Application Development Frame works
  • Hands on experience in Batch Programming, Algorithm, UI Maps, BO/MO, Change Handlers, Service Scripts, Business Scripts, BPA Script, Application Service, User Exits (Java/HTML/JSP/XML) and web services development.
  • Knowledge of Hibernate Framework, Web logic Server and Performance Management Tools
  • Good Programming knowledge in Java, HQL, SQL, PL/SQL, Knowledge on scripting Language (Shell Script /Perl/Ant Script/WLST etc.)
  • Experience of leading development team, working with client teams/SMEs and leading them through the project life cycle.
  • Good interpersonal communication and analytical ability
  • Strong soft skills required
  • Ready to travel to client locations as needed
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 96,620 to $ 109,129
