Your role

The main purpose of this role is to support OpenStack based telco cloud infrastructure.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain OpenStack compute, storage, and network services
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents and performance issues
• Perform capacity planning, scaling, and lifecycle management
• Support integrations with orchestration, monitoring, and automation layers
• Ensure availability and resilience of NFV infrastructure
• Operate and maintain OpenStack compute, storage, and network services

Requirements:

• Strong Linux administration (RHEL / CentOS / Rocky)
• Process, memory, disk, CPU troubleshooting
• Systemd, journald, log analysis
• Networking basics: ports, firewalls, DNS, routing
• SSH, SCP, file permissions, SELinux (basic)
• openstack CLI
• Service logs
• Prometheus (metrics basics)
• Grafana dashboards
• Alerts & thresholds
• Log analysis (Splunk / ELK / journald)
• Basic understanding of:

MTTR

Alert noise reduction

• Basic Ansible playbooks (run & troubleshoot)
• Shell scripting (log cleanup, checks)
• Terraform awareness (read & validate, not design)
• CI/CD awareness (pipelines, failures)
