Microservices Developer

Infosys is seeking a Microservices developer with good knowledge of Vert.x, Microservices and API management experience. As a Microservices Developer, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. Also, you will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You would also be working on some frontend development using Reactjs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Relevant Information Technology experience

• Location for this position is Phoenix, AZ. This position may require travel and/or relocation to project/client location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Hibernate/Spring Data for creating Java based microservices.
• At least 3 years of experience in Design and architecture of JEE applications
• At least 3 years of experience developing enterprise grade highly scalable Java based applications.
• At least 3 years of experience in Agile Knowledge of ceremonies.
• At least 2 years of experience in front end development frameworks, especially ReactJS
• At least 2 years on MVC framework, Spring 4.x/5.x & Design Patterns.
• At least 3 years of industry experience working in Vert.x and API management
• Experience and knowledge of at least one of the following Document based DBs - Cassandra, couchbase, Redis, MySQL, MongoDB etc.
• Hands on experience working with Microservice Patterns (circuit breaker, service discovery), 12 factor apps
• Good knowledge about continuous integration tools e.g. GIT, Jenkins, XLR etc
• Working knowledge on Automation Tools e.g. Selenium, Cucumber etc
• Non-relational database experience e.g. Couchbase or MongoDB
• Relational database experience in db2/PostGreSQL

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
